Attendance Office – M.E.T.S. Jersey City
Per the New Jersey Department of Education, student absenteeism can lead to low academic achievement, dropping out of school, delinquency and gang involvement. School districts that have established multi-systemic approaches and policies pertaining to student absenteeism typically experience fewer numbers of dropouts and a greater number of graduates.
Our Attendance Officer is dedicated to ensuring our students academic success by addressing attendance concerns immediately in an effort to promote academic achievement of all of our students. If at any time you need to speak with Mrs. Maldando-Diaz about an attendance related concern please call her at 201-526-8500 ext. 720 or by email (gdiaz@metscharterschool.org).
